Dear Annabelle,
Goodbye is hard. Unlike most, I have never had to say goodbye to those I love, which makes this letter so much harder to write. Maybe the one thing I regret in high school is not focusing on my writing.
I'm ever appreciative of how good you made this summer. We're only 18 once, and I can't wait to see how we will grow into each other in the future. You became more than just my girlfriend; you became my best friend. In infinite universes, the chances of us meeting are infinitesimal, and I'm glad I could get to know someone like you so well.
Thanks for going through my college results with me. Thanks for always putting up with my random ideas. Thanks for keeping me company in my minivan on long trips. Thanks for always supporting me, even when you didn't want to be there and no matter how retarted it is. Thank you for your smile, your laugh, and everything else I don't have the words for. I'll miss you squishing my face and slapping my belly.
While three minutes turn to three hours, you will never leave my heart or my mind. I love you.
I'm sorry this is so short; things usually play out better in my head :)
Leo
